Halloween 2020 is cancelled 😦
Who would have thought that Halloween would be cancelled?! With us still being in lockdown here in Wales there were no Halloween events, trick or treating was banned and pumpkins were classed as a non-essential item to buy in Wales!
I was stuck at home watching Ghost Adventures and I did bring out the pastel pencils (which I have not used for awhile) and created a spooky picture of ghosts coming out of a pumpkin). This was such an unusual Halloween, I should have been in a haunted castle doing a ghost hunt, carving pumpkins and just having fun 😦
I haven’t used Pastel Pencils for so long – but I was pretty pleased with the outcome. This is on Canson Pastel Paper using Faber Castell Pastel Pencils.
To coincide with this tragedy I created a sticker featuring a pumpkin in a mask, flanked by some plague doctors and a couple of those pesky Covid-19 germs. I thought it would be a good way to remember Halloween 2020 if you’re doing a scrapbook, etc
